  About the Journal

The “International Archives of Health Sciences(IAHS), eISSN 2383-2568 with the License No. 92/35921 from the Ministry of Islamic Culture of Iran is a scholarly journal which is published to present the novel scientific findings in the field of health sciences to improve the level of health of academic society of Iran and the region. IAHS has taken its domestic scholarly grade from Iranian Commission of Medical Sciences Journals at May 2, 2016.

This English fully peer-reviewed quarterly (4 issues per year) is supported financially by Research Deputy of Kashan University of Medical Sciences and scientifically by School of Health of Kashan University of Medical Sciences.

 

International Archives of Health Sciences consists of multidimensional integration of health advances and is designed to be a medium for increasing communication and dialogue among health care providers of various health systems, experts in health-related social sciences, medical technologists, health administrators and educationalists as well as organizations in the health field. So It accepts different kinds of articles (as described in Authors Guide) in the below headings of Health Sciences:

Digital Archiving

Wolters Kluwer Medknow provides for long-term digital preservation through two primary partnerships, Portico and CLOCKSS.

Portico is a leading digital preservation service worldwide. The content is preserved as an archival version and is not publically accessible via Portico, but is provided when required under specific conditions, such as discontinuation of the collection or catastrophic failure of the website.

CLOCKSS will enable any library to maintain their own archive of content from Wolters Kluwer Medknow and other publishers, with minimal technical effort and using cheaply available hardware.

Ahead of Print policy

Articles published online under the Ahead of Print model are considered published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source. Wolters Kluwer Medknow has a policy that changes will not be made after publication of an article without following accepted procedures for making corrections to the scientific record.

Advertisements

While advertisements are crucial to this journal to be able to keep all content free for everyone, ethical considerations are in place to ensure the integrity of the journal and its content:

  • "Pop-up" and "banner" ads appear on a random, rotating basis. The advertiser has no control or input over the pages where their ads appear.
  • The Editorial Board has full and final approval over the content of all advertisements.
  • Advertisers will never be shown any manuscripts or other content prior to publication.

The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues in field of All Disciplines:Health Service Effectiveness and Management, Occupational, Environmental Health, Biological Hazards, Epidemiology, Clinical Aspects of Envenoming by Different Animals, Plants and Microorganisms, Epidemiology, Clinical Aspects of Tropical Diseases Caused by Virus, acteria, Algae, Fungi and Parasites,Preventive and Community Medicine, Control and Prevention of Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases, Parasitology and Vector Borne Diseases, Mental Health and Psychosocial Hazards and Food Security. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.
